START A YOUTUBE CHANNEL

YouTube is a video sharing channel where people can watch, share and
upload their own videos. YouTube is FREE to use.
Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, has a net worth of
$105 Million. He uploads stunts on his YouTube channel, which made
him $54 million in 2021.
Another social media star is Jake Paul, who made $45 million on YouTube
in 2021 by posting prank videos and boxing content. His YouTube
popularity helped him make much more money in other online areas.
An even more incredible story is of Ryan Kaji, an 11 year old boy who is
one of the richest YouTubers. He is one of the most successful kid
YouTubers, who made over $20 million in 2021 from YouTube doing science
experiments, DIY arts and crafts, unboxing products and other funny
things. He even has his own clothing and toy line at Walmart and Target.
SO, IF THESE PEOPLE CAN MAKE MONEY ON YOUTUBE, WHY CAN’T YOU??
You can! To Start a YouTube channel, you have to create a Google account.
To open your Google account, go to the Gmail Account creation page,
enter your last and first names, a username and create a password. If
you already have a Gmail account for personal use, I suggest that you set
up a separate business Gmail account.
It won’t be easy and it will not happen overnight, but with some hard work
and perseverance, you can create a successful YouTube channel. You’ll have
to investigate all the rules and policies of YouTube. You’ll have learn
how to use all the equipment you’ll need to produce your videos. Watch
other video channels and learn from them. Learn from your own mistakes,
to make your videos better. With all the successful people on YouTube,
know that it can be done.
You’ll need a Computer with internet access, Video Equipment, Editing
Software, and a Graphic Program. I’ve known many people who have
started their YouTube channels with just their cell phone as their
camera and some free editing and graphic programs. You will need an
area for filming. Eventually you may need a studio. However, for now
you can choose an area of a room and make sure you have a nice
background for filming.
If you like, as you get more experience and you have a better knowledge
of what you need, you can buy more and better equipment. You can buy a
better video camera, microphone, tripod, etc. You can buy professional
video editing and graphic software and maybe arrange a better studio
setting for your filming.
I recommend you choose your niche before you start filming. The sky is
the limit. It all depends on your interests and your expertise. You can
create videos reviewing products, teaching skills, you can create makeup
tutorials, prank videos, or for any video you think there would be an
audience.

WHY START A YOUTUBE CHANNEL

It could just be a means of sharing your opinions with the world. It may
be a fun way for you to create and edit your videos. It could be the
visual equivalent to having your own blog.
If you have a different perspective of the news, you could share them
through your videos.
You could create a more personal way to keep in touch with friends and
relatives by producing videos to share with them.
You can get paid directly from YouTube. If your channel becomes popular,
it could become a source of revenue from YouTube.
YouTube is excellent for promoting your website. The fact is that in 2022
over 122 million people used YouTube daily in the U.S. alone. Place a link
back to your website in the video to encourage viewers to go there.
If you have knowledge of a hobby or craft, you could share it with other
like-minded people. If there is enough interest, you could give lessons or
in the case of a chef you could share recipes.

HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH A YOUTUBE CHANNEL

The best way to make money on YouTube is to create content that people
want. Create catchy headlines to get people to watch your videos. Make
sure to use keywords in your video description to optimize for YouTube
search.
Stay with one niche to build viewer loyalty and support. It’ll be easier
to establish yourself as an expert in your field. You’ll create fans who
spread the word to their like-minded friends.
To start earning money directly through YouTube, you must have a least
1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in the past year. Once you reach
that, you can apply to YouTube’s Partner Program and monetize your channel.
There are other ways to make money with YouTube videos than directly
from YouTube.
You can make money with affiliate marketing. First join an affiliate
program, like Amazon Associates and create links to their products. You
can demonstrate the product, or review the product in the video and place
your affiliate links in the description section of the video.
You can sell merchandise. You can sell merchandise of a company that you
already own or you can create merchandise for the YouTube channel you
have created.
If you have a “how-to” channel (cooking, woodworking), you could place
links for products that would teach or aid the viewers on how to do the
subject of your channel.
You could create sponsored content. Maybe a company that’s interested in
your channels audience would sponsor your video or make another deal to
mention their brand.
After you have your channel up and running and you have posted a few
videos make sure you promote your channel. If you have social media
followers, they could be your first viewers. Promote your YouTube channel
on the various social media platforms. Working with other YouTubers is a
good way to network and they may share your channel with their audiences.
REMEMBER
You can do it! It might be a struggle and a lot of hard work, but don’t
give up. You could be the next million dollar YouTuber.
